I&#8217;ve led congregations, rebuilt ministries that were struggling, and helped build partnerships and mission work across fifteen countries and five continents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"pull\">This blog is the place where those two worlds \u2014 the local church and the global road \u2014 finally get to talk to each other.<\/p>\n<p>My background spans pastoral ministry, global missions, discipleship, church planting, and partnership development, including serving as a regional missional strategist and leading multiethnic congregations. I&#8217;ve managed the unglamorous parts of ministry too \u2014 budgets, training, restructuring \u2014 because I&#8217;ve come to believe that&#8217;s rarely separate from the spiritual work. It usually is the spiritual work, just wearing a spreadsheet.<\/p>\n<p>I write here because sermons and reports rarely leave room for the in-between \u2014 the jet-lagged prayers, the slow rebuilding, the quiet conviction that kept me going before I could explain it to anyone else.
