“Then Jesus said to her, ‘Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.'” (Matthew 15:28)

She was a Canaanite, an outsider, the last person the religious experts expected to find faith in. While the insiders argued about traditions and washed hands, this Gentile mother pressed through rejection and kept pleading for her daughter. Jesus praised her faith, not her bloodline or her ceremony. She came with nothing but need, refused to leave without mercy, and kept coming back to him. How often do we settle for religious form while our hearts stay far from God? True faith believes he hears even when heaven seems silent, so it keeps coming back. Bring him your impossible today.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me the faith of the Canaanite woman, persistent and humble, unwilling to leave without your mercy. Amen.
